Click Here ! Rules - The number of members in each team is limited to 2. The Website should have an overall consistent look. Navigation of the site should be intuitive. The user should be able to reach the information within 2 clicks. The Website should have minimum 5 pages including a home page. Use of back button to navigate is not allowed. The website must be loaded in minimum time. However, for reference, a time of 10s per page will be taken. (It is up to the contestants to deicide where to Host their website. The server speeds are no concern to the Judging Authorities. ) The site should have registration form interface. However, the absence of form validating scripts will make no difference. The decision of the Judges and CSI will be final and binding in all respects. The event will be held in two rounds:- An online elimination round and a live final round on the convention Day 1. Online Elimination Round: Topics will be announced on 1st March 2004. The team should make the site and upload on any web hosting site and the website URL along with Team ID should be mailed to jaalkruti@ideas04.org on or before 06 March 2004 OR submit it at TCET by CD to Manoj Sharma between 1pm to 5pm on 06 March 2004 (address given below). The website should have a page (for e.g. About Us Page) describing the TEAM ID, name of participants along with their e-mail addresses. After assessment and judging of the site, 20 teams will be selected for the final round and the result will be displayed on the website www.ideas04.org and successful participants will be informed by mail. All successful participants should mail the list of software requirements that are needed to build the site like animation s/w, website creating s/w, etc. Final round: Final round is live on Day 1 of the convention at the convention venue. Teams will be given a list of topics one day before. Teams will be given 3 hrs to make the website on any one of the topics chosen by the organizers’ that were given the day before. The participants will be provided with the necessary images, icons, sound files, etc. Judging Criteria: Look of the website Originality Style Interoperability Content of the webpage’s Enhancement components used (if any like flash, sound files) Functionality Simplicity of use etc. Back to Events' List News March 20, 2004 Help make National Convention better.
