ELIMINATIONS
- Every Team should have 3 members to participate in contest.
- To be conducted at the Selected centres with in Mumbai.
- Paper will have following sections :
- Quiz.
- Case study.
- Data interpretation.
Quiz :
It will consist of Multiple choice question
based on :
- 4 teams will be selected for Final Round of contest.
- Time Duration : 45 minutes.
Declaration of Result will be done on 2nd March 2004
on www. iDeas04.org
FINAL ROUND. Time Duration : 120 minutes
Round 1:- CROSSBIZ
- A Crossword round.
- Question will be based on Business World.
- 4 such question will be asked to each team turn-by-turn.
- Passing Of question from one team to another is enabled.
- Correct answer : +20
- Wrong answer : -10
- Correct Answer at first pass : +10
- Correct Answer at second pass : +5
Round 2:- FACES AND VOICES
PART I :
- 4 Teams are supposed to GUESS the price of give product.
- The product will be one which is commonly available in market.
- Team with Guess closest to actual price will get +20 .
Similarly others team gets +15 , +10 and +8 according to descending
order of proximity to actual price.
- Team gaining +20 in above gets first chance to guess personality
hidden behind 9 grids on the screen. Then Other Teams are given
chance for it.
- One grid is opened after every Pass.
PART II :
- An incomplete Audio Advertisement clip will be played.
- Teams can guess the product & brand by pressing the buzzers.
- 3 Clips will be played.
- Correct Answer (i.e both product and brand):+10
- Incorrect Answer : -5
Round 3:- MARKETING MIX
A round, wherein the marketing skills of the teams will be put
to test.
- All the teams will be provided with a particular product.
- The teams will be given 20 minutes.
- The teams have to work out the 4P’s of marketing
- Product/Package
- Place
- Price
- Promotion
- Teams are Supposed to present above mentioned marketing strategy
.
- Presentation should have Distinct coverage of all the 4P's of
marketing.
- The teams should suggest a name for the product, prepare a T.V.
Advertisement and a product punchline.
- The Advertisment should not exceed 60 seconds
- Total presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.
- For each of the 4 P’s of marketing & advertising (TV
Advertisment & Product baseline) the teams will be adjudged
on a marking scale of 1-20 at the discretion of the judge. So,
maximum pts that can be scored are 10
